Lights Out is a single-device party game. Your privacy is simple: we don't collect it.

What we collect

No personal data. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no tracking, and no advertising SDKs. We use privacy-friendly analytics by TelemetryDeck to count anonymous usage events (for example, which screens are opened). To count devices rather than events, it uses the device's app-specific identifier, which leaves your phone only as a one-way hash; it is never linked to your identity, collects no personal data and cannot identify you. If something goes wrong inside the app (for example, a voice model fails to download), the same service receives an anonymous error report: what failed and where, never anything about you.

Data on your device

Game setup and settings (player count, role mix, chosen narrator voice, app language) are stored only on your device. Player names you type stay on the device and are never sent anywhere. Optional neural voice models you choose to download are saved locally and can be removed at any time in the app's settings.

Network use

The app works fully offline. The only network requests are anonymous analytics events and error reports (see above) and the optional, user-initiated download of a Premium voice model.

Children

The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
